1. Who we are
Novara Commodities (“Novara”, “we”, “us”) is a commodity trading and structured transaction support company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with our website and trade desk, and how we use it.
[Registered address — to be added by Novara Commodities before publication.]
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry data you submit through our quote form: company name, contact name, email, phone number, requested commodity, volume, origin, destination/Incoterms and any free-text message.
- Technical data automatically captured at the time of submission: IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamp. This is used to mitigate spam and abuse.
- KYC documentation exchanged after an initial enquiry: corporate documents, identification documents and proof of address of authorised signatories. These are exchanged through a secure email channel — never uploaded through this website.
3. How we use information
- Responding to your enquiry and providing indicative or binding offers.
- Performing counterparty due diligence (KYC / AML).
- Negotiating and executing contracts, including communication with suppliers, banks, brokers and logistics partners on a need-to-know basis.
- Operating, securing and improving our website.
- Complying with applicable legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of: (i) your request to enter into a transaction with us; (ii) our legitimate interests in conducting and protecting our business; and (iii) compliance with legal obligations applicable to commodity trading and anti-money laundering.
5. Sharing of information
We only share your information with third parties when necessary for the purposes above — for example: counterparties to a transaction you have asked us to facilitate, banks involved in payment instruments, logistics and inspection partners, professional advisers, and regulators or authorities where required by law.
Our website and backend run on Lovable Cloud infrastructure; submitted enquiries are stored in a hosted database operated by our infrastructure provider.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to evaluate, negotiate and (where applicable) execute a transaction, and afterwards for the period required by accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering rules applicable to Novara Commodities. KYC documentation is retained in line with these obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below.
8. Security
We apply commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect submitted data, including transport-layer encryption, access controls and database row-level security policies. No method of transmission or storage is, however, completely secure.
9. Contact
